This tire also has a flatter tread profile than the Beefy Baby II and features an overall 15% increase in total wearable rubber. Due to increased overlap in the treads, there is a significant increase in the amount of rubber in the center of the tread pattern. The shallower angle of the lug in the shoulder provides increased traction capability. The terracing in the undertread promotes self-cleaning. Also improved is Galaxy's signature rim shield, which has been enhanced in the Beefy Baby III's design.
