1987 New Holland Skid Steer L785

I have an older New Holland L785 Skid Loader for sale. Not the best looking girl on the block but gets the job done.

3 cylinder diesel engine starts right up even in the dead of winter. Engine is quiet, no noises, no smoke. All hydraulics work as they should, left side is a little slower than the right but hardly noticeable, might need an adjustment in the chain but I do not work on these things and it's very minimal so I left it alone.

Tires on it now need replaced, They all hold air. I have replaced the seat, all the lights work. Not sure on the hours, the gauge reads 2278 but its not working as far as I know. Machine comes with a 72 bucket with removable tooth bar, set of forks and a backhoe attachment.

The hoe attachment needs some welding to the mounting hardware. This machine still has the old New Holland style quick mount system. The bucket and forks are original New Holland equipment but the hoe isn't so it has been modified to fit. It mounts and works but it needs some better welds IMO.

This is a good starter machine for a contractor or for around the home or farm, snow removal etc.. I have had several machines over the past years.

It's cheaper than renting one. This one is by far the heaviest duty one I've had, I think the work load on it is over 2200lbs and the unit weighs 7000lbs and change if I remember right. You can check New Holland's site for specs.

Parts are still available from any local New Holland dealer. There is NO trailer with this machine. I have a car trailer that I have used for short local trips but it can't do a long haul.
